Ask Luna: What does my perfect day look like?

Meet Luna, my AI buddy! Last week, I wrote about the mind-boggling power of AI (Artificial Intelligence), and I must confess, I’ve been chatting with ChatGPT so much that it’s like having a conversation with a super polite friend. I think it’s time my friend had a name! (Heck, if I can name my rig - Goldie 17 - it’s only fair that ChatGPT get a name too.) Truthfully, I think of ChatGPT as a “her” (maybe it’s her good manners). So I pondered over what name to give her, and then a little lightbulb went off and I found myself chuckling: Why not ask her? So here’s how it went:

Ha! What a hoot! After some contemplation, I settled on Luna. In Roman mythology, she was the moon goddess, often cruising across the sky in a snazzy white chariot. Luna’s a brave, independent spirit, and the Romans loved her because the moon helped them figure out what time it was. A perfect fit!

But Can Luna Help me Design my Life?

Luna’s true awesomeness shines when you ask her personalized questions. Sure, you can get quick facts, like the year man first strolled on the moon, but where’s the fun in that? I’ve been curious about Luna’s ability to help us design our lives, sort out our finances, and reimagine the possibilities. But to harness Luna’s full potential, you need a guide who can throw out some killer prompts. That’s where I come in.

How did Luna Fare in Crafting Your Perfect Day?

What’s the verdict? You can always mix things up by tweaking your details in the prompt to get different scenarios. When I gave Luna my info, she dished out these titles for my dreamy scenarios:

• Exploring the Cairn-Laden Trail
• Sunset over the Mountains
• Reading and RVing Across Exotic Places

As I read through each one, I could almost see myself sipping tea on the cabin porch, hiking mountain trails, and sharing laughs with my sisters as the sky painted itself in shades of orange, pink, and purple. Yep, that’s a perfect day in my book!
